the whole context of this podcast style will be casual and we are going to discuss so many things that involve emotions. Most of them will be around the negative emotions that we experience every day and what happened to them and how they affect us on a daily basis. And how the negative emotions of the past even affect us now. So, uh, you know, we're going to discuss in the future what are emotions. You know, we'd be kind of dull creature if we didn't have emotions. You've been a dog has emotions, monkeys have a motion. And scientists have even discovered that plants and trees have emotions and express them in ways that they can now measure. I know that may surprise you, but we can talk about that. We're going to discuss the types of emotions that affect us in a negative ways. We're going to talk about phobias, talk about things like anxiety. Did you know that over 40 million people suffer from anxiety in the United States? 40 million suffer from anxiety. Almost 7 million of them suffer from what they called Gad. G A D, which is the, the, uh, Short version of generalized anxiety disorder. And it's by persistent and excessive worry about mode. So many different things in one person. People with Gad may anticipate disaster, maybe overly concerned about money, health, family, work or other issues. And individuals with Gad find it difficult to control their worry. They just can't stop worrying. 15 million suffering from social anxiety disorder, 14.8 million suffer from major depressive disorder and 7.7 million effected by posttraumatic stress disorder. There's so many types of emotional disorders we could go on forever discussing them at present. 40% of disability worldwide is due to depression and anxiety. Did you know that 40% worldwide. The most recent psychiatric morbidity survey indicates that there are some 6 million people in United Kingdom, approximately 3 million with depression as their primary problem and 3 million with an anxiety disorder. What about anger? What about an anger disorder? 9% of American adults or 22 million people suffer with an anger problem. There's conduct disorders, there's eating disorders. Have you seen the statistics of overweight people and obesity in the United States? Many of them have eating disorders. They're either he addicted to the food because their body is addictive to that element that they're constantly eating or they are emotional eaters, which is one of the hardest to cure. We can talk about the rating scale of emotions and how they're rated their vibration because they are energy and they've been measured. There's like 60 main emotions that we have found that in my particular therapy practice we deal with these main 60 which covered just about every other kind of emotion. We're going to be talking about how emotions affect us, how we respond to the emotions around us, how people respond to our emotions. We do affect other people just by the emotions that we produce. Knee jerk reactions, what to knee jerk reaction. That's our response to an emotional stimulus that causes us to rise up and react normally. That's from some incident from the past, some negative incidents, some traumatic thing that has happened and and we respond to that and we can't even help it. That's why they call it a knee jerk reaction. How about an negative energy in a room? Have you ever been in a room where people were kind of lighthearted and you know having a good time and then all of a sudden somebody comes into the room and you kind of sent the cloud? Kind of settles down over the atmosphere of the room, the emotional atmosphere and things become a little stolen, not so happy, not to go lucky. And even to the point to where arguments may break out where there was good conversation beforehand, what would that be caused by how we respond to emotions good and bad. That's just the way that we react to the energy that's around us. Uh, can we control our emotions is going to be a question we're going to discuss often we can control our emotions at the moment, but then afterwards we have an emotional response to the input that that affected us. We have a response like anger or resentment or frustration and oftentimes these get stuck and we can't get out of that. And a never ending cycle of, of being angry with the person for what they said or maybe the something that they did. So we'll be covering different types of emotions. We'll be covering phobias and their effects. There's so many different types of phobias we'll be discussing types of therapy and what is the potential for resolution to an emotional problem. It's talk therapy. The only type of therapy for an emotional problem. There are many other nonmedical modalities out there. And what are the physical effects of negative emotions on our body? That's a very, very important one. We're going to talk about the physical effects of negative emotions on our body.
